Get Your Goat - 2011

Using a found video of a 'comedy encounter' between a presenter and an Ibex goat this footage has been re presented cropping the image so as to concentrate on the goat's protest. The goat is a loaded symbol and one that in this encounter is being mocked and in turn venting its anger. This protest could symbolise the tension of the everyday between the rational and irrational mind, sublimated drives or the repressed dionysian underbelly of society. To get somebody's goat is a colloquial saying referring to making somebody annoyed or angry.
